YOU ARE AN INFINITE BEING OF LOVE AND LIGHT

“Human potential is infinite” – Dr. John Hagelin (professor of physics at MIU)

Such statements threaten and shake the very foundation of our materialistic paradigm or conditioning. And is avoided by the mainstream or most of our society. We can in fact know anything, do anything, and accomplish anything. We only use a fraction of our mental capabilities.

With our very limited conventional educational methods, mental development freezes as we get older. In order to really continue to grow and evolve, to enjoy life and enjoy more success we need to experience higher states of consciousness.

Covid is in some ways forcing us to prepare ourselves for massive social awakening – a reawakening to the tremendous power of our human consciousness.

INNER SPACE

“The world behind our eyes is the new frontier, because we are a great mystery we’re only beginning to now study us and discover us”. -Caroline Myss

Perhaps the final frontier is the exploration of our consciousness. When we read book after book that is not exploring inner-space. The only way to truly discover your unlimited potential is use methods that have a direct effect on your inner-growth and development.

These techniques we offer are akin to “upgrading” the brain hardware and the surprising thing that scientific research is showing us is we do this through the heart.

Here is a quote from Steve Jobs from a speech that he gave at Stanford to graduates. He said: “Have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”

Many people put a great emphasis on the intelligence of the brain. Especially our intellect or our intellectual capacity. But what about the intelligence of the heart and now ‘thank goodness’ there’s scientific validation for it.

The scientific research has found that the heart (the heart is primarily intuitive) is more powerful than the brain. The energy of the heart is 5,000 times that of the brain.

When I first started meditating in 1973 I was told again and again: “What the heart already knows the mind still has to find out.”

So the heart is like a radio receiver and transmits signals and activates the higher centres of the brain. The heart sends signals, information to the brain telling the brain how the body feels.

We grow, we evolve, we unfold as we open our hearts.

STRESS MANAGEMENT

Science tells us that the biggest source of stress is the lack of alignment between the heart and the brain. We’ve all experienced this where there are things we think we should be doing or things that other people tell us we should do. But they don’t sit well with us. So there is a lack of alignment with what you really feel deep in your heart, and what you think you should do or are told to do. This creates the stress that we’re feeling.

The challenge is to create coherence between the heart and brain. It’s like rowers all rowing together, with precise, evenly matched strokes. Such a boat would move more quickly and efficiently through the water. The synchrony between heart and mind means more personal creativity, joy, and success.

Everything depends on the heart and brain functioning with coherence (the opposite of coherence is chaos)

Research indicates these benefits of heart and brain coherence:

  • Increased level of intelligence (IQ)
  • Elevated emotional intelligence (EQ)
  • Improved emotional stability
  • Build up of creativity
  • A decline in anxiety

LIVING FROM YOUR HEART & SOUL

“You are here to live from the heart.” – Baptist de Pape

In spiritual traditions the heart has been described as being the seat of the soul. The heart is the very first organ the fetus develops in the womb. Getting closer to the heart is getting closer to who you really are – your spirit, your soul.

You can create heart and brain coherence through the many tools that we have for you, but here is one you already know about and can start with right now. While I know some of you know the power of appreciation; however, from my observation very few people practice it. People prefer to read books or listen to podcasts or watch videos (ultimately this passive approach will get you nowhere – I know this from experience).

Recent scientific studies have discovered that the most “potent” thought to insert into your mind to bring your heart and mind into coherence is a thought of APPRECIATION.

They also found that long-time meditators weren’t necessarily coherent, and found that what really works powerfully is when people would focus on something for which they had a great appreciation.

When I was given my diagnosis – mentally I was in deep doo-doo because my mind was in a panic. The fears and mental pictures my mind was creating were extremely upsetting for me.

These thoughts would hit me at 3 in the morning where I was at my most vulnerable. And even after 37 years of meditation couldn’t stop the momentum of those thoughts. But thank goodness when I would lie there in bed and I would write my blessings my thinking would shift.

This may sound weird to some of you but I found that appreciation was like being in heaven, because I would be praising, I would be applauding, basking, and enjoying positive energy in the moment. The powerful thing about appreciation is that you’re alert and in the active mode of changing your energy, your mood, your attitude, your vibration.

After 20 minutes of writing I would then drift off to sleep at peace and confident that everything was going to be alright.

I truly believe that this was my saving grace in helping me. The more you practice appreciation regularly, the more coherent the functioning of the heart and brain throughout the day becomes.

YOUR HAPPY DRUGS

What we also need to know is that the heart is a hormonal gland. The heart produces serotonin, oxytocin, dopamine, and endorphins. So the heart is much more than a physical pump.

However, the danger is that stress disengages the proper flow of these healthy hormones. Serotonin, Dopamine, Oxytocin, and Endorphins that KEEP YOU IN GOOD HEALTH.
